I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 4 years of experience helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma, and major life transitions. I strive to create a compassionate and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, strengthen their sense of self, and build lasting confidence through self-awareness, emotional growth, and personal empowerment.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Psychology from Sam Houston State University. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, person-centered techniques, and reality therapy to encourage insight, resilience, and meaningful progress throughout the healing process.

My go-to approach for helping people in grief & loss counseling is creative arts therapy because it can provide an alternative outlet, especially when someone is not ready to talk about the loss. Additionally, I like to use acceptance and commitment therapy which will help them embrace their grief without having to fight it.
I teach the following tools in grief and loss: scheduling silence and emotion time, educating support systems on how to respond when someone is grieving, journaling, and meditating/praying.
A client is making meaningful progress when they're able to acknowledge and accept losses while still being able to function in their daily routines.
To supplement grief and loss counseling, a client can always write in a journal to help provide an outlet if they're unable to speak to someone.
