He specializes in helping people with depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, domestic violence, grief and loss, trauma, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue. Jason has worked in community mental health settings, private practice, and crisis call centers. He has spent years helping clients and colleagues in crisis as a counselor, coach, and manager, and he continues his advanced graduate education with a focus on psychological autopsy and suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention.
Jason received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and holds an additional Master of Philosophy in Forensic Psychology as a PhD candidate. Jason utilizes a clinical approach embracing person-centered practices, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
