Thriveworks follows a specific process to verify your insurance coverage for mental health services:
1. When you book an appointment, you’ll be asked to provide your current insurance information. This can be done online or over the phone.
2. Thriveworks will attempt to verify your benefits on your behalf. We use this information to confirm that you are active with your insurance and estimate your coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs.
3. While Thriveworks verifies your provider is in-network before your appointment, we do not handle pre-authorization requests. Some insurance plans require advance approval for certain treatments. If this applies to you, you’ll need to contact your insurance company directly.
