My go-to approach for treating depression is to assess how the client's depressive symptoms are impacting functioning. I find the best benefit in determining if fatigue and low energy are interfering with activities that would improve mood.

Thoughts and behaviors can precede feelings. Altering your thoughts and behaviors can eventually change the way you feel. Working with a skilled, compassionate counselor can help you recover from depression and feel better!”
