About
As a licensed therapist, I believe that the best work is done in partnership with my clients, and together we can create and accomplish goals that improve mental health and well-being.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 6 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in helping clients manage bipolar disorder, ADHD, substance use, depression, and anxiety. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, build coping skills, and move toward emotional balance and self-empowerment.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. My approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy to help clients identify patterns, regulate emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies.
I bring empathy, patience, and genuine understanding to every session. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience happiness and fulfillment. Together, we’ll work toward developing the tools and mindset needed to overcome challenges and create lasting positive change.

As someone who has experienced mental health struggles in my own life, I understand the need for support and empathy during life's challenges.
I have over 10 years of experience in the field of social work. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings with teens, families, individuals, and older adults. My background includes experience in behavioral intervention, family therapy, mental health support, substance use treatment, and hospice care—where I had the honor of supporting individuals and families through grief and end-of-life transitions.
I received my Master's degree from East Tennessee State University and have been dedicated to learning new ways to support mental health. I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including Person Centered, Humanistic, and Existential theories, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic practices.
We all need support during life's challenges. I bring a calm and warm presence to my sessions, creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you're navigating loss, processing trauma, or simply seeking a more grounded sense of self, I am here to walk with you in that process.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

Thriveworks Couples therapy helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. It is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within couples therapy include:
Couples therapy works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular couples therapy sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Couples therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend couples therapy for 12 weeks. However, couples therapy may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
